CWHC is excited to host an in-person workshop with our gender-affirming voice coach, John Patrick (JP). JP, who typically provides virtual voice coaching services, can’t wait to visit Chicago and support the local Chicago community. JP will be leading a fun and interactive workshop built to encourage and enhance participants' journey aligning their voice with their identity. Participants and individuals who are interested are invited to share this opportunity with a friend. This workshop aims to expand opportunities for anyone who desires support for their voice. 

Participants will: 

• Develop breathing habits to support our presence and vocal expression 

• Explore exercises to energize and dynamize the voice. (“Dynamize” should totally be a word) 

• Connect about our journeys and build community! 

When: Saturday, June 7th, 11:30am – 1:30pm 

Where: Chicago Women’s Health Center, 1025 W. Sunnyside Ave. Suite 201 

Payment Information: We are offering this workshop on a sliding scale from $60-15. We encourage participants to pay where they can on the scale. If you have any questions about the sliding scale, reach out to transhealth@chicagowomenshealthcenter.org. No one will be turned away based on ability to pay.

Voice Coaching at CWHC is NOT about changing your voice to fit what the world thinks you should sound like. We aim for every client to not just tolerate their voice but be proud of it. Register below!
