Primary Care

Change to scope of services

CWHC is dedicating time to building the long term strength of its Clinical Services Program in response to changes in our staffing and the need to create a more sustainable program in a volatile health care landscape.

Beginning October 2022, CWHC will greatly reduce the primary care services we offer. This does not mean current primary care clients will be left without options. If you’ve relied on us for primary care services, we will do our best to help you transition your care to another provider. Also, in order to make this transition as smooth as possible, we will work with you to establish care with new providers and ensure continued access to medications.

As we evolve our clinic in response to community needs, access remains important to us and we will do our best to minimize the impact on our clients. Throughout this transition, your patience is appreciated and your questions are welcome! Please reach out to Kaylie Engel, Communications and Volunteer Coordinator, at ke@chicagowomenshealthcenter.org.
