At Chicago Women’s Health Center, our style of providing services is unique
in a number of ways:

Flexible sliding scale fees for all services
Longer appointments which allow time to focus on health education
Emphasis on preventive and self care including breast and cervical self-exam
Education about & referrals for alternative care such as Traditional Chinese Medicine
Street-level accessible exam room for people with disabilities
Person-centered therapy services
Affordable emergency contraception
Fertility awareness classes

Fees

Chicago Women’s Health Center is a nonprofit organization, which receives no government funding. Our ability to provide flexible, sliding scale fees relies on earned income from client fees for service (39%), foundation grants (51%), special events (3%), and individual donations (7%) from donors like you.

In addition, many individuals make a volunteer commitment to CWHC. Approximately $45,000 of our budget is covered by the monthly hours each collective member volunteers. We are also fortunate enough to have on site administrative volunteers as well as volunteers who donate services in their area of expertise including printing, web site development, graphic design, and fundraising.
