Teachers for Social Justice Curriculum Fair

Posted on October 16

Feeling empowered to create change in our education system after the historic CTU strike? Look no further than the 12th Annual Teaching for Social Justice Curriculum Fair! The Curriculum Fair takes place Saturday, November 17th, from 10am to 5pm at King College Prep High School (4445 S. Drexel Blvd.). This event, co-sponsored by Rethinking Schools and Chicago Teachers Union, will offer workshops, resources, culture, and more!

Teachers for Social Justice is currently seeking curriculum exhibitors, workshops, resource tables, and volunteers for the Fair. If you or someone you know is interested in participating, fill out the appropriate forms online at www.teachersforjustice.org by October 31st. Be a part of “Reawakening the Education Grassroots Movement!” Teachers for Social Justice works to build a public education system that is participatory, critical, pro-justice, anti-racist, and multi-cultural.
