Incest Survivor Group
Group offered once per year. Next group begins Wednesdays October, 2008.
This 20 week group has a structured format based on a model created by Sandra Butler. This group is geared towards women who have already done some therapeutic work on incest issues and will focus on how past abuse affects one's current life. Sliding scale fee. Circle of Healing – New!
Next group begins Wednesdays August, 2008.
This 8-week group for women follows a structured format including activities, learning about the experience of surviving incest and healing. The focus will be on personal safety, stress reduction techniques and how a history including sexual trauma can impact the way your body feels. This group is for women who have never engaged in therapeutic work on incest issues. Activities and discussion will center on beginning the healing process and starting a recovery journey that includes future therapeutic work. Sliding scale fee. Advance registration required. Surviving the Twenty Something Identity Crisis

This 8-week group is for 20-somethings to share fears and frustrations around the multitude of life altering decisions they are faced with. We will discuss decision-making regarding career choices, intimate relationships, family expectations, and moderating self-doubts. Group is limited to 5 participants. Sliding scale fee. Exploring Parenthood

This 7-week group provides a supportive and educational environment in which lesbian and bisexual women and transgender people can explore the path of non-traditional parenthood. This group provides information and facilitated discussion on alternative insemination, adoption, foster care, legal issues, and emotional and social factors. Sliding scale fee. Midlife Transitions Support Group - NEW!

Midlife often represents a powerful time of transformation in many women's lives. This 8-week group encourages women to explore the meaning of midlife in the context of their life histories, while learning to cope with the change, loss, and continued growth this time inevitably brings. Post Abortion Support Group

This 3-week group is for women seeking a safe, pro-choice space to discuss their abortion experience with other women who have shared their decision. This group is open to any woman who has had an abortion at any time in the past and feels a need for extra support around this issue. Group is limited to 5 participants. Sliding scale fee.
