Meet AJ, July Volunteer of the Month
Posted on July 16
Q: How long have you been volunteering at CWHC?
A: Since July, 2012, so this month makes a year. And a wonderful year it's been!
Q: What do you spend your time doing outside of CWHC?
A: I design a line of feminist greeting cards, called Hippocamp Cards [link to http://www.etsy.com/shop/HippocampCards], and indulge in detective stories.
Q: What is your favorite project that you've worked on here and why?
A: I wouldn't have expected it but my favorite project has been answering the phones. It's how I came to understand exactly what CWHC means to its clients, new and returning.
Q: What kitchen appliance do you most identify with and why?
A: Glass mixing bowls, big enough to fit in the crook of your arm. I feel like they're open to whatever you want to try to create.
Q: What three words would you use to describe CWHC?
A: Especially thoughtful people.
