Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at CWHC! Volunteerism is at the core of CWHC and our volunteer program is large and growing. We rely on and appreciate all of our volunteers!

Currently, many people volunteer to assist us in a variety of ways: administrative help such as answering phones and data entry; web design and development; graphic design, and organizing benefit events.

Do you have a special skill that you feel may benefit CWHC? Do you have a free morning or afternoon that you would like to commit to assisting CWHC on a regular basis?

CWHC can utilize a variety of skills and we can usually develop a volunteer schedule that fits your needs within our business hours of 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Current volunteer needs include: events planning, access programming, accounting assistance, advocacy support, and medical billing. Finally, we ask that those who have received counseling at CWHC wait two years before volunteering with us, in order to protect client confidentiality and to preserve the boundaries of the client/counselor relationship.
