Teaching for Social Justice Curriculum Fair

Posted on November 7

Feeling empowered to create change in our education system after the historic CTU strike? Look no further than the 12th Annual Teaching for Social Justice Curriculum Fair! The Curriculum Fair takes place Saturday, November 17th, from 10am to 5pm at Kenwood Academy High School (5015 S. Blackstone Ave.). Please note that the location for this event has changed. This event, co-sponsored by Rethinking Schools and Chicago Teachers Union, will offer workshops, resources, culture, and more!

If you’re interested in attending the fair, pre-register online at http://www.teachersforjustice.org/ to avoid waiting in line on November 17th. Be a part of “Reawakening the Education Grassroots Movement!” Teachers for Social Justice works to build a public education system that is participatory, critical, pro-justice, anti-racist, and multi-cultural.
