Educate, Inspire, and Transform: An Intergenerational HIV Prevention and Empowerment Workshop

In honor of National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, please join us for a special educational event! This event aims to increase youth awareness around HIV/AIDS transmission and the serious health problem HIV/AIDS presents for young people. Sessions will focus on providing accurate information around HIV/AIDS, self-worth, healthy relationships, empowerment and effective communication. All girls (ages 13-19) and their role models/caregivers of all ages are invited.

This event is co-hosted by Chicago State University, Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health, Sexuality Health Education to End Rape (SHEER), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, HIV/AIDS Regional Resource Network Program, and Office on Women’s Health - Region V.
