Louise Storytelling At Fyos

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Louise Champlin.

On Saturday November 19th, our dear, irreplaceable Louise passed away. Louise, a health worker and Collective Member of 30 years, will be deeply missed by the Collective, our clients, and our community. Every aspect of what CWHC is today has been profoundly shaped by Louise’s dedication to client care, her commitment to feminist health care, and her fierce spirit.

CWHC will be closed* on Monday November 21st for staff and volunteers to take time together to celebrate Louise and to be together in our loss.

We know that Louise’s passing impacts many of our clients; please know that we are here for you, too. She loved you. Our dedication to your health care remains unchanged.

As one Collective Member recently expressed, “Louise could find the place in you where you knew you were okay.” We look forward to caring for you in her legacy.

We will be in touch about the family’s wishes and opportunities to honor Louise when information is available.

*Counselors will see clients as scheduled.
