Emma: CWHC's All-Star Volunteer!
Posted on August 5
Meet Emma Zachocki, one of CWHC's Administrative Volunteers. We love her as much as she loves ice cream!
Q: What three words would you use to describe CWHC?
A: (Empowering + educating + enabling) x (women)Q: What three words would you use to describe CWHC?
Q: How long have you been volunteering at CWHC?
A: A little over two months now
Q: What do you spend your time doing outside of CWHC?
A: I work at a jewelry store in Bridgeport, Oscar’s Jewelers. I really love sewing, and I just adopted a hedgehog (as seen in picture)! Her name is Quest, after the group A Tribe Called Quest.
Q: What is your favorite project that you've worked on here and why?
A: I organized the supplies closet in the meeting room. I love when things fit into place. But I can’t wait to start bigger projects!
Q: What’s one thing you’ve learned at CWHC?
A: How necessary we are! So many people would not be getting the health care they need and deserve if it was not for all of us.
Q: What’s a favorite summer activity or food of yours?
A: I used to work at an ice cream shop and now it is embedded in me to love ice cream.
