Our Vision

Chicago Women’s Health Center envisions a world in which all people have access to comprehensive, affordable, and sensitive health care.

Our Mission

Chicago Women’s Health Center facilitates the empowerment of women by providing access to gynecological health care, alternative insemination, health education, and counseling services in a respectful environment where women pay what they can afford.

Our Goals

To provide services in a manner that respects the dignity of each individual.
To make services available regardless of income, race, religion, or age, including to people with disabilities, lesbian and bisexual women, queer people and trans people.
To provide an atmosphere that encourages people to be active participants in their own health care and to advocate for themselves as health care consumers in our clinic and with other providers.
To create a client/provider team approach in making health care decisions.
To provide a health care model that embraces the integration of alternative and conventional modalities of healing.
To share information and promote preventive health practices in our clinic and through community outreach.
To work in coalition with other groups to identify key public health concerns and bring these concerns to the attention of policymakers
